The Woman, The Hares, The Volcano and The Rare Bird

There was a woman who liked hares. Each night, when the moon began to rise , she traveled to the country to watch the hares. She followed their tracks through the snow and forest. After a while the hares retired, but some of the hares fur was left behind, caught on grass and leaves. The woman collected the fur and took it home. Each night she collected all the fur she could find until she had a lot of fur. She put it in her pillow and when she slept she dreamt of 3 hares. The fastest hare in the world. The cleverest hare in the world & the trickiest hare in the world, who could camouflage himself so well, he was almost invisible. The woman went on an expedition. She was a scientist. She camped high in the mountains. She cut a path through the forest to record and catalog all the different birds and insects that lived in the trees. She was looking for the rarest bird in the world. One night as she slept a volcano erupted. The fastest hare outran the lava and took the woman to a cave. The cleverest hare trained his fleas to explore all the cracks and tunnels of the cave. The woman followed the fleas until she came to the end of a long tunnel. At the end of the tunnel was a strange creature. The trickiest hare, disguised as stones and pebbles hid the woman in his fur and brought her to the creature. It was the rarest bird in the world.
